Delete your Souldaters account
You can delete your account yourself at any time, in under a minute. It's immediate and permanent.
Delete your account in the app
- Open the app. Go to souldaters.com/app and log in.
- Go to Me → Settings. Tap "Me" in the bottom bar, then the gear icon or "Settings & privacy".
- Tap "Delete account". Scroll to the bottom of Settings and tap "Delete account".
- Confirm with your password. Enter your password to confirm. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
Just need a break? Instead of deleting, you can pause your profile in Settings. You'll disappear from Discover but keep your matches and chats for when you return.
Can't log in? Delete by email
Email palmies@pm.me from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". If you've lost access to that email, include your username and we'll work with you to confirm the account is yours. We aim to handle requests within a few days and always within the time limits set by data protection law.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, all photos and all profile details
- Your likes (given and received) and passes
- All messages you sent and received — your matches' chats with you close
- Your tribe memberships and all your tribe posts and replies
- Your notifications, blocks and login sessions on every device
- Any pending emails to you
What may remain
- Tribes you created stay available for their other members, without your name attached.
- Reports made by or about your account may be kept as long as needed to protect members from abuse.
- Closed match records no longer linked to any visible profile, and data in rolling backups until they are overwritten.
