Yes. There is no premium tier, no paywall, no paid boosts and no ads that unlock features. Seeing who liked you, filters, tribes, matching and messaging are free for everyone.

Anyone aged 18 or over, of any gender, orientation, background or faith. Souldaters is designed to be welcoming for groups often overlooked by mainstream apps, including vegans, sober people, LGBTQ+ people, single parents, people over 50, and disabled and neurodivergent people.

Souldaters launched in 2026. It is a young, independent community, so the number of members near you will grow over time.

Souldaters is an installable web app. Open souldaters.com/app in your phone browser and add it to your home screen for an app-like experience. Native App Store and Google Play apps are planned for later.

Yes, it works everywhere. You see people within the distance you choose from your city or approximate location. We also publish local guides for 80 cities.

Messaging opens only after a mutual match: both of you have to like each other first. This keeps inboxes free of unsolicited messages, spam and most harassment.

Your like is private, but members can see who liked them in the free Likes section. If they like you back, it becomes a match and the chat opens.

It combines shared tribes, shared interests, diet, relationship goals, lifestyle (kids, smoking, drinking, exercise) and distance. Each score comes with plain-language reasons like "3 shared tribes" or "both vegan".

There is a generous daily like limit of 250 to stop bots and mass-likers. Most people never reach it.

The match ends and the chat closes permanently for both of you. Neither of you can message the other again.

Yes. Seeing who liked you is free on Souldaters, like every other feature.

A tribe is an interest or identity group, such as Vegan, No-makeup, Health-oriented, Spiritual, Sober or LGBTQ+. It works as a tag on your profile, a Discover filter and a group with a discussion board and public page.

You can join up to 40 tribes.

Yes. Any member can create a tribe with a name, emoji, category and description (up to 3 per day). It gets its own public page and discussion board straight away.

Member tribes become indexable once they have at least 3 members and a real description of at least 80 characters. Until then the page exists but asks search engines not to index it.

Only vegans; only vegans and vegetarians; non-smokers; sober or non-drinkers; no-makeup or minimal makeup; people who exercise often; only profiles with photos; only verified members; only people who share a tribe with you; people who want kids; people who don't want kids. All free.

Yes. Members can state their makeup habits on their profile, and you can switch on the "Only no-makeup / minimal makeup" filter. There is also a No-makeup tribe for natural-beauty lovers of every gender.

Yes. Set your intent to "Friends only" or "Dating & friends". Friend matches work the same way as dating: both people send a like or wave first, then the chat opens.

Your intent is shown on your profile, and nobody can message you without a mutual match, so you stay in control of who you talk to.

Yes. Join activity tribes such as Hikers, Runners or Yoga, set your intent to friends, and use the "share a tribe" filter. Tribe boards are also good for organizing group meetups.

Souldaters is designed to reduce common risks: match-first messaging, 18+ only, email verification, a verified badge, block and report on every profile and post, human moderation of reports, a scam-phrase filter and a daily like limit. Always meet in public and never send money to anyone you met online.

Only logged-in members. Profiles are not indexed by search engines. Tribe pages may show a small public teaser (username, age, city and photo) only for members who opted in to appear publicly.

No. Other members see an approximate distance, never your exact coordinates or address.

Use the report option on their profile or post in the app. A human moderator reviews every report. You can block them at the same time.

Yes. Pause your profile in settings and you will disappear from Discover until you unpause.

In the app go to Me, then Settings, then Delete account. Your profile, photos, likes, matches and messages are deleted. You can also email palmies@pm.me from your account email address.

Change your notification settings in the app, or use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.

On the login screen choose "Forgot password" and we will email you a reset link.
